His images have been published in dozens of books, including his coffee table book Cuba Classics: A Celebration of Vintage American Automobiles. He photographed (and wrote) the National Geographic Traveler Colombia and National Geographic Traveler Costa Rica guidebooks on assignment. And his images have illustrated scores of feature articles for a vast range of international publications.
His many awards for photography include the Gold Prize in the 2015 North American Travel Journalist Association Awards (“Best Photography: Portrait/People”) for his image of a man and horse in Trinidad, Cuba, published in National Geographic. The Lowell Thomas Award 2008 'Travel Journalist of the Year,' he has also been named 'Travel Journalist of the Year' by the Caribbean Tourism Organization and Jamaican Tourist Board.
